How to Get Out of Debt: 10 Ways to Make Money Online

If you’re in debt, the feeling of your bank account draining every month is probably all too familiar. Paying off that debt isn’t easy – you can’t just save up some money and get out of debt that way – but it’s possible if you use the right methods to bring in extra cash. If you need to know how to get out of debt, these 10 ways to make money online will help you build up your savings faster than ever before.

Step 1: Find your motivation
Finding your motivation is going to be very important. If you’re truly not motivated, it’s unlikely that you’ll get far in trying to get out of debt. But if you put your heart into it, finding ways to make money online can be easy and extremely rewarding. Check out these two articles on how I got started making money online and how I found motivation for getting out of debt..

Step 2: Invest in yourself
One important step in getting out of debt is investing in yourself. It’s easy to get caught up in focusing all your attention on finding a job and making money, but while you’re doing that it’s critical that you also invest time into gaining valuable skills and knowledge. Having extra cash reserves means nothing if you don’t have an edge over your competition.

Step 3: Get started on Fiverr
Now that you have come up with your title, description and keywords, it’s time to start creating a listing for your gig on Fiverr. Click here to go directly to Fiverr and search for your specific service. Once you find a gig that is relevant in your niche, use it as inspiration for how you want your gig page and order form layout to look like. After looking at a few gigs (don’t just look at one or two), then create your listing page.

Step 4: Branch out on other sites
Once you have a few posts on your own site, it’s time to see how easy it is to start getting content on other sites. Check out some blogs in your industry and see if they are currently featuring guest bloggers. Guest blogging is an amazing way to get your name in front of large audiences and drive some traffic back to your site. Look for blogs that have similar topics and can be partnered with—ask them if they would like a guest post from you!

Step 5: Invest in some equipment
it doesn’t matter what you start with, just get started. It’s important to invest in a camera if that’s what you enjoy using, or buy an editing software package if it will make your life easier. If you know people who are doing YouTube professionally, ask them which equipment they use and why they recommend it. Remember that gear is only going to help you develop your craft; it won’t necessarily dictate how successful your channel is.

Step 6: Try new things
Now that you’ve been using our tips for a couple weeks, maybe it’s time to start challenging yourself. It’s easy to fall into a rut and start writing things like How I lost 20 pounds in two months! every week. Change up your tone or focus.

Step 7 : Start a blog!
So now you’ve published a few posts on your website. Excellent! But how can you build an audience large enough to attract clients? The secret is in cultivating your network—through social media, email, and offline interactions. Let’s start with social media. Every time you publish a new post, share it on Facebook and Twitter.

Step 8 : Optimize your ads (e.g. Facebook)
There are two ways you can optimize your ads – by bidding more (or getting more clicks) or by charging less per click. Choose whichever method you’re comfortable with. If you’re new, it might be easier just to charge less per click.

Step 9 : Don’t give up!
If you fall into debt and are unsure how to get out, just remember one thing, Don’t give up! There are people who have been in your shoes before. They’ve made it out, and they have a plan for you. Seek advice from mentors who know what they’re doing and have walked in your shoes. It might take time, but stick with it!
